„Art is not a reproduction of what is visible. It transforms what isn't always evident.“ This phrase by Paul Klee encapsulates part of his poetry and is translated visually into the graffiti technique that the artist uses in the painting 'Fish Magic' of 1925.

The painting's surface is dark, an unformed background, as it was before the creation and explosion of life which was the Big Bang: In the beginning was darkness. This darkness is the stuff from the unconscious. It is hidden beneath the appearance of things, and even of ourselves that is difficult to discern and understand, which seems to be a mystery. Knowing our unconscious, like the secrets of existence is a difficult, but not impossible task and a gruelling task that not all of us are willing to take on. Shining in the dark Klee's magical fish don't claim to be real, they are only light that illuminates the darkness. They reside in the dark, squareblogs.net and are creatures of the unconscious. The artist is able to scratch the surface of the unconscious and the canvas beneath lie hidden but vivid figures, plants, colours forms and images. The meaning of this technical operation is salvific and vital, showing how, within the depths of the ocean and in the dark darkness, there are tiny sparkling creatures which stir the waters and follow the currents. Fish are dreams, stories and stories flashes of ideas and dreams that emerge from the darkness. They are games that slumber in the density of existence and are vivid, childlike fantasies, impulses that subconsciously or consciously steer the actions and hopes of people.

The fish are aware of you, but do not consider you a threat and do not need boundaries to delimit them. The dark is their home but they're not afraid of sometimes being caught and seeing their soul shine through like a bolt of lightning, like a eureka, like a ray of energy that flows up the spine before exploding into the brain, similar to the electric flow of the current that flows across the wires of light. The fish are like that, bobbing, swimming, dancing in their flow The ocean is their home and they are not afraid of the absence of walls and limits. In fact, it can be in the vastness of the world that they can experience the joy of being able to be there today and not tomorrow as well as the freedom to travel forever, conscious that they will always return as in the oceans of the unconscious the path is circular.
